With a La Niña climate pattern officially confirmed by the Bureau of Meteorology, it's safe to say there's a bit of a dampener on our summer plans. Literally.
The climate driver will see drops in temperature and plenty of rainfall, particularly on the east coast of Australia. Data also suggests it won’t be letting up anytime soon, despite our prayers to the weather gods.
Our hopes of perfectly curated picnics and sunset drinks by the beach may be in peril, but we’ll be damned if we let a little (or a lot) of rain ruin our summer entirely.
To ensure we stay dry getting from work to social events and everything in between (and look chic doing so) we’ve rounded up some of the cutest umbrellas and raincoats worth investing in for the season ahead.
